Are PU research scholars covered under medical insurance? No one knows clearly

The accident of a Panjab University PhD research scholar, Kirti Chalana has brought to fore the ambiguity over the insurance cover of research scholars residing on the campus. While the research scholars claimed that they are not included under the scheme, the university authorities countered it by blaming the students for not opting for it.
